Sport Specific Training (SST)
This style of off court training is done to build an athlete for the specific rigors of their sport, to improve upon the movements, explosiveness required and most importantly to prevent injury.
We do private contracts with individuals in small groups in a multitude of sports. For these methods we work inside areas of improvement from most important to least important. For example in racquet sports, there are four key areas of improvement to operate inside:
- Cardiovascular Endurance
- Muscle Strength
- Muscle Endurance
- Flexibility
SST involves only training inside these fitness parameters. The focus is to improve your fitness for your sport, not teach you your sport.
